Obviously a little one-sided...but a provocative video nonetheless.
Am I the only one that thinks that video is melodramatic, manipulative and full of things taken out of context?
@Reddy Agreed, it's silly to see the owners as villains and the players as the heroes. The players don't have the fans' interests in mind any more than the owners do.
So long as somebody is will to pay "$14,000 for a ticket" you can bet somebody will sell that ticket.
Does anyone know if the NHL locks out and we send players (such as Brunner) down to play in the AHL, does that count against their NHL contract years as it would if an NHL season were actually happening? I mean, will Brunner be a UFA next year?
