Update on Helmstrom
...well, just look:
I will never get tired of watching that clip.
Anyway, there is an update on #96 and #43.
But you'll have to make the jump to see what it is.
They both returned to practice! However, with a back-to-back looming tomorrow and Saturday and Sunday - they're going to be very careful about when Helmstrom returns to action in a game:
"See how I feel tomorrow, that will probably be a bigger indicator. I wasn't pushing myself too hard. Couple of times I tried to get up to full speed, but never went after it too hard. Felt good, didn't feel it at all when I was skating. If it feels unbelievable, maybe. We play back-to-back, so it's pretty tough jumping into back-to-back with this kind of injury. So maybe Saturday off and shoot for Sunday (at Chicago). But if it feels really good, then we'll see." --Darren Helm
That quote brought to you via Khan(!).

Here's what the coach had to say:
“I don't think so (Saturday), but there's another practice tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. We're set up to go without them. But they're good players, when they're available, we'll use them." --Mike Babcock
Should Helmstrom not be ready to go, here is the lineup that Detroit skated with today:
Franzen-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi
Filppula-Zetterberg-Hudler
Miller-Abdelkader-Cleary
Nyquist-Emmerton-Conner
Lidstrom-White
Kronwall-Stuart
Ericsson-Commodore/Kindl
Howard
