I decided to let the man himself - Josh - introduce this installment of movie poster awesomeness:
Well, I got a bit inspired this week. This weekend I will present to you a Will Ferrel movie poster weekend. Here is the first of two.
Of course, we're going to make you do the jump to see and hear the explanation from our resident photoshop wizard.
High expectations that simply were not met...one could say that for Phil Kessel last year. Sure, he's playing great this season and may end with a billion points as our friends up north want to point out. However, It's still funny when you think about his appearance in the ASG last year. I will always remember him that way... sitting in a chair... the dark, empty seats that surrounded him... picked dead last. That was good for a chuckle. Maybe he sustains, but screw that... we hate the Leafs and they hate us so why should our feelings about him be any different. So, with that said... I give you a Semi Pro Maple Leaf_now with more waffles! --Josh Howard
Let's go Red Wings! Clap clap - clap clap clap! Let's go Lions! Clap clap - clap clap clap! Let's go MO TOWN! Clap clap - clap clap clap!
Kindl looks much worse after the time off. I would say Ericsson looks worse, but that would require the grammatical error of using a double negative. Commie needs to come back (and E going).
I am so SICK of this shit with the penalty shots. So apparently there is NOTHING a player can do when someone has a breakaway. The guy got a clear shot away...if he was coming up the ice and Ian White puts his stick on him in the neutral zone like he just did they wouldn't even THINK of calling a penalty.
@NOHS Drew And yep, there you have it. 1PP in 2 games...
@NOHS Drew No kidding. Had a thought at the end of the 2nd Period, and checked to confirm. We are working 1 Power Play in 2 games right now...
@NOHS Drew The last two calls like that against us leave me with that same impression. Did White's stick go parallel to the ice and touch Kessel? Yes. Did it affect Kessel in any way? No. Was it such a minor touch that there wasn't enough force applied to harm an actual human baby? Abso-friggin-lutely.
@NOHS Drew Yeah, both goalies got puck first. So why does Hasek get called and Gustavsson not? (I am still mad about the call on Hasek, btw)
