Anybody remember when we won the Cup in '08 and Pasha led the league in hits going into the SCF? I loved his interview question about it, "what you think about being the league leader in hits?" He answered with "Friends with statkeeper. He give me many hits each game." The only deal is that Detroit statkeepers are usually pretty fair and Datsyuk was absolutely levelling people that season.
I noticed this in fantasy hockey this year. I would watch a game with one of my players, see him level like 5 people and get credit for 0. All the while, some guy who gently nudged another person gets credit for 10. lol @ NHL and statkeepers
