When the NHL expanded and the current central division was formed, Detroit was a lock for a 1,2,3 seed. Who would have thought that a team in Nashville would one day become a legit force in the west. The Preds have always been a thorn in our side.

Zetterberg is out tonight and Tatar is in. Zetterberg has been one of our best players this season, and just started turning it up in the offense department. Let's hope its just some soreness, and not anything serious.
The trade winds are blowing in full force with San Jose and Philly starting things off yesterday. The Wings are rumored to be looking for 1 or 2 gritty veteran players to add to the lineup. Only time will tell. Tatar could be up being showcased as trade bait?

I hope Tatar is not being used as trade bait for anything less than one of the Nashville defensemen we see tonight.
Hal Gill just got traded to the Preds. That makes their defense a bit more scary. Kings put Trent Hunter on waivers though. That would be a nice reclamation type pickup for Kenny
A friend of mine gave me a little insite on the FSD+ thing. The deal was done awhile back and facilitated by Tom Wilson while he was still with the Pistons. Now he works for Ilitch.
BTW guys, Ryan O'Mara got traded for Bryan Rodney yesterday, so make sure to cross those guys off your Wings wish list for the deadline.
Found it interesting that Abbie is centering the 2nd line. Sucks Z is out, but it'll be interesting to see the different line combinations tonight.
@JOHNxJOHN I'd hate them less if they actually won more than 50% of their games. They're not even a winning team, and the winning team gets the alternate channel. Basketball is stupid.
If I didnt' get FSD+ in HD I'd go crazy. I feel bad for the tons of loyal hockey fans displaced so the Pistons can try in desperation to get better ratings (at the cost of hockey? Whatever).
