Detroit and Nashville are in a little 4th place - 5th place shuffle...and we all know Nashville is known for it's ability to "doe-si-doe".
And the elevator in the Pacific Division goes from 3rd to 9th in no time flat...though a lot of that settled last night.
We are one week away from the NHL Stanley Cup Play-offs. Get your sleep in now, people - it's probably going to be a bumpy ride.
More after the jump.
Here is how the Western Conference Standings look after last night:
Thanks to getting NO help from Minnesota last night (a 2-1 shootout loss to NSH), The Carrie Underwoods have jumped over us and sit at 100 points....thanks, Pinky.
The Wings have three games left...all against play-off teams. Tonight will be interesting...as games against St. Louis always tend to be. Hopefully, we'll invade the land of Snooki tomorrow with a solid 101 points.
The season wraps next Saturday at home against our Little Brothers from the Windy City.
My stress levels are rising with the temperature outside. The Wings need to finish strong and build some momentum heading into the post-season.
Will they? That's up to them.
@Reddog Division leaders are seeded 1,2,3 for winning their division, so they get home ice first round of playoffs
@billtownbadass ah, that makes sense thanks for the response
Honestly, I am more concerned with our level of compete far more than our final regular season standing. If we are playing like we are capable of and have before, we will win the Cup from the #8 slot. If we are playing like we have been of late, we will lose in the 1st Round.
