"We're anticipating Hudler, Franzen and Datsyuk all out tomorrow. They're all day to day. We'll see as we go." --Ken Holland
That quote vis Khan(!) today. Hudler's flu has transformed into an upper body injury. Datsyuk is still nursing a lower body injury from that hit from Rick Nash on Thursday, and Franzen has a groin problem.
Detroit is completely out of options so long as Chris Osgood isn't ready to return. If Ozzie was healthy, we'd be able to send Joey MacDonald back down to Grand Rapids and use his Cap space to call up Jan Mursak or one of the other Griffs. But, so long as Ozzie is out, we're stuck with this seven-eleven lineup...which I hate.
It's a double edged sword...we're making sure not to rush back already injured players, yet exposing the remaining forwards to get constantly run at (as could be seen last night).
At least we're not playing one of the dirtiest teams in the league tomorrow....oh wait - we are.
