Lidstrom - All Star Game Captain

Interesting...for a couple reasons. 

First off, so much for Nick finding a way to take the weekend off. 

Second, is this to shut-up Wings fans from complaining about snubs?

The other captain is Eric Staal, a center.  I would have expected both captains to be the same position.  

Who does Nick pick?   Who does he snub? 

I will admit, this does make it all a little more interesting.
