Crazy Day

The GM's around the league have been busy today... here are some of the deals that I've heard about:

Boston gets - Tomas Kaberle
Toronto gets - Joe Colborne, 2011 First Round Pick, Conditional Pick
FINALLY we can stop talking about the Kaberle trade rumors.

Boston gets - Rich Peverley and Boris Valabik
Atlanta gets - Blake Wheeler and Mark Stuart
Looks like this was a Cap dump so that Boston could afford Kaberle.  Wheeler makes $2.2 million while Peverley only costs $1.3 million

Colorado gets - Brian Elliot
Ottawa gets - Craig Anderson
I have NO CLUE as to why Colorado would do this.

San Jose gets - Ian White
Carolina gets - 2012 Second Round Pick
Ian White is now playing on his third different team this year...poor guy.

Tampa Bay gets - Eric Brewer
St. Louis gets - Brock Beukeboom and a Third Round Pick (stick tap DG).
Good thing this deal didn't go down before last night.
