Red Wings vs Preds Post Before the Game
Written by Ryan on .

Pregame? Nope, that's not what this is. This is the post before the game. Totally different.
But Twig, it seems to me like...
It's totally different, OK!?
The Red Wings are 0-1,000,000,000,000 in games where I write the pregame, so I'm not doing that. Ever.
But Josh Howard made us yet another epic movie poster, so it must be posted. The awesomeness of the poster combined with my trickeration in the title should be enough to pull the Wings past the Preds.
That and our superior hockey team. They play a part in it, also.

Officially jinxed the game, Twig. No pregames/before the games ever again.
Oh please.. there's no such thing. Blame it on the rut in the ice or whatever you want, but it wasn't because of Twig. @ChrissyKraceva
lol, I know, I'm just being an ass. However, Nashville does seem to have magical ice. @Josh Howard
shhhhh... For the love of all that is Datsyukian... don't encourage his paranoia! @moorecha @ChrissyKraceva
30 seconds left in the 3rd. I am appalled. Two softies from Jimmy right there, what the hell is going on!? I though we were better than this.
That last goal was just a stupid bounce, there's no way Jimmy could have predicted it would go up that high on him. @Reddy
@Reddy Hey, it happens. Hopefully he pushes thru it. First rough game from Howard in, well 2011 from what I remember.
Hell of a game.
Jimmah is a monster when he stays in the net, wish he would do more of that sometimes.
He's far better when he cuts down the angles by coming out. That's his thing and something he can do well when he's on. Jimmy did NOT lose this game for us. @reecardoraul
@Josh Howard Jimmy looked strong in the net the whole game. I still cringe every time he comes out.
@reecardoraul@Josh Howard He needs to come out, thats when he makes the big saves. His weak point is going down a little early sometimes (both Weber goals, though that last one was a bad bounce).
I can't tell the difference between an Ericsson breakout pass and clearing the zone. Oh wait, yes I can. Both go to the other team, but an E-breakout pass makes it over the blue line.
Btw, ive been reading this blog for a while... Hope it's ok to start posting comments now....
@Kidtwist24 It's not only ok, I'd have to ban you if you didn't! Welcome sir. Comments are what keep us going (only way to tell if people like/hate/read what they see!)
Anyone else feeling like Ericsson is particularly bad tonight? Guy is making me want to throw stuff through the TV every time he hits the ice.
@ThroatShot his attempt to dump the puck into the zone that went straight to the guy in front of him was hilarious. also funny to see kindl bail him out. but hey, kindl is lower on the depth chart that errorson, you know.
@Twig The 3-on-2 that he had carrying the puck into the zone without pressure on him became a partial breakaway for the other team. He tries to clear the zone and slides a 4mph trickler up the middle. He is all by himself skating with the puck and then all of a sudden is just skating all by himself sans puck. An empty slot should be above this fag on the depth chart.
@ThroatShot we must have posted at the same time... I'm so sick of this guy, time to see what B. Smith or commie is capable of
Holy shit, anyone just see what Pavel did to Weber???
And Kindl and Tootoo just trainwreaked each other. Holy crap what a start.
@Twig@moorecha Pav was so tired and wanted off so bad, but he had a piece of business to take care of first. No attempt to get the puck in deep, score, or whatever. He just baited him in to hit him, and then he actually finished the check unlike Weber failed to do on him. That is one of my most favorite things about Pav- brutal physicality out of no where.
Thanks for taking care of this Twig, I was just rushing back to get this posted.
