And some of the many we've recieved from Alvin Brant.
Any favorites? Round two will be coming up soon and an unveiling of the author of the great "We Are All Happy" photoshop.
Holy jumpin'...you guys are making me self conscious about being a Microsoft Paint-using loser. I notice all the little things (Babcock as the Emperor, the RenCen in the Draper poster).
Truly amazing work by everyone. My posters look like amateur hour in comparison.
The Juri Puck Guild one is a spin-off of a much better photoshop project currently in prodcution. It is a "Wizzard of Ozzy" theme, which includes Osgood at the smoke head wizard thing from the emerald palace, Big Bert as "the man with tin knees" Franzen as the Lion, Homer as the Scarecrow, and it even has a few Patrick Roys as flying monkees....It is quite grand....
So for everyone that lives in Arizona and is from Michigan, listening to Tyson Nash can cause vomiting, alcohol abuse and a general pain in the ass. Doan can do no wrong since cheap shots on Lids is nothing but 'playoff hockey' The best part is his hate for Helmer.
Anyway, he inspired a little photoshopping. Dirty Bert has clearly turned Helm to the dark side.
I laughed, out loud no less, the hardest at the Franzen pic from Sr. Naujok. Hilarious retelling of the Legend of the Franzenstein. Good going, sir.
This is completely off topic but I felt like I should mention it.They just released the finalists for the GM of the Year award. Why isn't Holland on there? 20 straight years in the playoffs, late picks in the draft, and still dominating. He should at least be a finalist over the Nashville GM.
@moorecha My avatar is better than your avatar.
@NOHS Drew but your posters are more about meaning than elaborate parody... Don't be so hard on yourself...
@AlvinBrant That sounds cool... Can't wait to see it...
@brendanksullivan thank you. Which nick name do you prefer I personally like Franzenstein as the better nick name than, the Mule, except, when used in the hungry, feed him bit, but at the same time franzenstein led to Francisestein after his contract signing... It's tough...
@D.M.N Oh I like the Mule, because I'm a sci-fi nerd and Asimov's Foundation Series has "the Mule" who is a completely ridiculous superhuman. But that's just me. Franzenstein I reserve for when he looks mangled like he does this year.
I was actually worried the visor might mess with his game, since he never wears one and he's a bit of a sensitive guy who doesn't like leaving his comfort zone much. But that wrister on the breakaway was twisted...
@brendanksullivan that reminds me of the "Twisted Wrister" call Buccigross would use back in the NHL tonight segments... Twisted Wrister! By Brad Isbister!!!
