Well, the #8 seed in the Leastern conference has defeated the Presidents Trophy-winning Washington Capitals and last night they took out the defending Stanley Cup Champions.  Nice work, Habs.

I no longer have to sit around and ponder what it would be like to watch my two least favorite sports franchises duke it out of for Lord Stanley's Cup.  Can you imagine what a Chicago/Pittsburgh SCF Series would be like?  I personally, would probably have to stick to my "never hope Chicago wins anything" mantra.  Pittsburgh fans win out in the internet troll annoyance, but Chicago fans are all classless scumbags in my book and I have a better chance running into one of those idiots.

But did we lose our best horse in the "will somebody please beat Chicago" game?  If the Hawks manage to get around San Jose, as I predict they will, can either the 6th, 7th, or 8th seeded team in the East really stand a chance against them?

Once Detroit is out, I am all about the Eastern Conference.  With exception to Pittsburgh, I'd rather see ANY team in the East beat ANY team in the West.  Now that Pittsburgh is out, my three favorite teams among the "still alive" become 1.) Montreal 2.) Boston 3.) Philly in that order with San Jose a distant 4th.

Just wondering what everyone else's mindset for the remainder of the play-offs is now that Detroit is out.

Oh and did you notice that Cindy remembered to shake hands this time?  Crazy.
