About N.O.H.S.

The Nightmare on Helm Street is an unofficial blog overwhelmingly dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and the destruction of their enemies. Drew started a non-partisan blog in 2008 which failed miserably and he eventually created N.O.H.S. on the scorched Earth thereafter in July 2009. Chris was added as an author three months later. Both are washed up college hockey players, except Chris is a stupid goalie.

This is always a painful segment for me.  Sifting through another team's blog to find comments to try and ease the pain.  But like Owen Wilson in Marley and Me (that was on HBO last night), sometimes when you hose through crap, you find a jewel or two.

nucksmisconductlogoThese coming from SBN's Nucks Misconduct...

Mules are cool. They’re hybrids, you know.

Mules can’t make other bebe mules.

Uh...yeah, whatever She meant by that.

That was apoor decision by wellwood

had sammy on the RW open, but chose a pass to the LW through traffic.

Wellwood doesn’t make poor decisions! haha

Not at MCDonalds, anyways

I personally will never get tired of the Kyle Wellwood fat jokes.

Man, I like this Zetterberg…

Not sure if that's a Wings fan visiting a Canucks site.  But a little praise is always welcome.

I hate the Wings and almost always have. It’s from back when I was a kid and a Leafs nut…plus I hated the superpower free-spending Wings from the 2000’s

but if they play the Penguins in the Finals I cheer for them

by Sean Zandberg on Mar 3, 2010 9:25 PM EST

Well...I guess that's good enough for me, Sean.

Zandberg is the guy that runs Nucks Misconduct.  I find that SBN is a funny place, filled with sites that run the gammit from classy and professional like Winging it in Motown (and I'm not just saying that because I contribute), the hack jobs like Pinky at Hockey Wilderness, and the ones that fall somewhere in between like Nucks Misconduct.

I have to admit, I'm a little dissapointed by the lack of funny comments by Vancouver fans.  But would you rather have somewhat hockey smart fans who aren't all that funny, or low-brow morons like those guys from Denver?

 Hmmm....

Yes, I was just flexing some mule knowledge. I went all AP Bio 11 keener for a second.

Haha, thanks to Winging it in Motown for this. So entertaining. I'm a fan. Keep it up.

And I'm a she smilies/smiley.gif

Cool stuff! Many of us Canucks fans are so classy, except for me. I want Datsyuk and Zetterberg beheaded

To clarify, I'm a Canucks fan first and a Wings fan second. Z is one of my fave players in the last 5 years or so.
