About N.O.H.S.

The Nightmare on Helm Street is an unofficial blog overwhelmingly dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and the destruction of their enemies. Drew started a non-partisan blog in 2008 which failed miserably and he eventually created N.O.H.S. on the scorched Earth thereafter in July 2009. Chris was added as an author three months later. Both are washed up college hockey players, except Chris is a stupid goalie.

Which one of you was claiming that Mike Babcock had a "if it's not broke, try and fix it" approach to our line-up?  Chris and I had a coach who did that in college and it sucks.  Well Babcock isn't playing that game according to Khan(!)...

Coach Mike Babcock said he isn't planning on any lineup changes for Saturday's game against Buffalo at Joe Louis Arena (7 p.m., FSN), meaning Jimmy Howard will make his 15th consecutive start in goal and Brett Lebda stays in on defense in place of Jonathan Ericsson.

So there you have it...

Franzen-Datsyuk-Holmstrom
Filppula-Zetterberg-Cleary
Bertuzzi-Miller-Williams
Draper-Helm-Eaves

Lidstrom-Rafalski
Kronwall-Stuart
Lebda-Lilja
Ericsson-Meech (scratches)

Howard (starting)
Osgood

Be the better Miller, Drew...be the better Miller and we win this game.

Oh your the returning #1 you say? Oh you started nearly every game last year you say? Oh you made the all-region team you say?

Let's scratch you for the first month of the season then.

did anyone else like Eaves with Zetterberg? That may just be that goal vs pinky talking, but I think those two together make a good pair. Eaves is making the gritty plays, which Z is somewhat reluctant to do this season and it made for a good play. I know, microcosm vs macrocosm but I believe in it regardless.
