So once again, this is a first for the pre-game movie poster installment. Instead of cutting and pasting faces from Red Wings to a movie poster, I decided to take an image I've been saving for a while and turn it into a movie poster. Hope you like it...
March 22nd: Pittsburgh Penguins @Detroit Red Wings
The film depicts the yearly journey of the Pittsburgh Penguins of a football town. In autumn, all the penguins of breeding age (five years old and over) leave the Gary Bettman's lap, their normal habitat, to walk inland to their ancestral breeding grounds. There, the penguins participate in a courtship that, if successful, results in the farce of a play-off run. For the play-off run to survive, both refs and league officials must make multiple missed too-many men on the ice calls, rescinded automatic fighting suspensions, and phantom goaltender interference calls between Toronto and Bettman's office over the ensuing months.
