Unlike most pre-game movie posters, the title of this post, "Headed for Oblivion" is not the imdb.com provided tag line for the movie. It was actually the first user review submitted...and that was the review in its entirety. I find that both funny and ironic since that is exactly where Columbus is headed, so I decided to use it. I might be reaching in terms of creativity with this one, but with only three games left, how could I not at least give you guys something?
April 7th: Columbus Blue Jackets @ Detroit Red Wings
Rick Nash and his team have a problem: despite having tried making the playoffs each year for the 10 years of their marriage, Rick has never won a play-off game. That leaves him feeling incomplete and Columbus feeling inadequate. Columbus looks for their manhood in the arms of Free Agency, and Rick looks for his "W" with the help of a mechanical device known as Cindy Rosby at the Olympics. Of course neither finds the answer they were looking for, and continue to search for meaning and fulfillment.
