Jump Off A Bridge - Homer Out 3-4 Weeks

Because, why not?  Good lord. Per Khan(!) who finally decided to do something today:

LOS ANGELES -- Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Holmstrom will be out 3-4 weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his foot, general manager Ken Holland said today.

The injury happened after Wednesday's practice at the Honda Center in Anaheim, when Holmstrom was working on deflecting pucks, like he does after virtually every practice. It's something he's been doing for 13 years. For the first time -- and it figures it would happen this year -- he got hit with a puck in the wrong spot.

I don't even know what to say.  Seriously.  This has got to be how it felt to be Tiger Woods' wife Elin when she was finding about girl #12 through whatever number it is at now.  It doesn't even hurt anymore.  It's all just a blur.  What did we do to deserve this?

And great digging Khan(!)...I could have told you this.

The Wings still have one extra healthy forward. Either Brad May or Ville Leino will be inserted into the lineup tonight.

Wonderful.  We need to step up the sacrificing the the hockey gods, neighborhood pets aren't doing it anymore...any ideas?
