About N.O.H.S.

The Nightmare on Helm Street is a fledgeling blog overwhelmingly dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and the destruction of their enemies. Drew started a non-partisan blog in 2008 which failed miserably and he eventually created N.O.H.S. on the scorched Earth thereafter in July 2009. Chris was added as an author three months later. Both are washed up college hockey players, except Chris is a stupid goalie.

As Drew Sharp once told the Chief, "I don't care what fans or bloggers think."  That's why I disabled the comment section, so you people wouldn't dirty up my site with your mundane drivel...

Just kidding.

Apparently, other Bloguin sites were having the same problem with commenting today...I blame the logo.  Regardless, the administration sent out instructions on how to help get the commenting back on track and I think it worked.  So comment away, people.

I've missed your input, Twig, Eats, and everyone esle.

With Franzen coming back today and the Olympic break upon us, maybe it's time for a new poll (with respect to what I'm looking forward to most).

Since the game doesn't start for 25 mins, and since Holmstrom and Eaves aren't playing, I though I'd squelch everyone's dreams. Actually, most of us are probably happy with the team now that Leino was dealt (except for May, Meech, and Lebda).

So here's the breaking new's that everyone probably already knew:
Detroit won't be making a splash at the trade deadline. You heard it right here, from the horse's mouth, "Our trade deadline acquisitions are Franzen and Kronwall," Holland said. "If you told me at the start of the season we'd get a big forward and a top-four D-man at the deadline, I'd take it. And once we activate Franzen, we're at the cap -- it's dollar in, dollar out."

He really does know how to say it doesn't he?
