Well, with the help of Chicago's well-time shovel crew, the Blackhawks have forced game seven, and the Canucks are in trouble....BIG trouble. I'm a little peeved at the Canucks (if you couldn't tell by the title). I really thought that they were going to pull the plug last night on this series...but alas...it wasn't to be.
The 'Nucks looked soft...even slightly disinterested last night in overtime of a series-clinching game.
Maybe I'm wrong - but even if Vancouver pulls out game seven at home against the pesky Blackhawks - I don't see them making it out of round two.
Los Angeles will be looking to follow suit and force game seven against the Sharks tonight. If San Jose holds out and Chicago mounts the four-straight comeback as Philly did last year - it will be a rematch against the Sharks for them in round two...which would be interesting. That combo would also be favorable for us in terms of travel as we would face Bubba down in Nashville.
Still playing the waiting game.
On a side note, livefyre could be sweet if it ever worked. Stupid Amazon EC2... If any of my servers went down at work for weeks on end, I would be boxing up my stuff....

I thought they just looked tired. I think that's worse. I was rooting for Chicago all through that game, up until about halfway through the 2 period when I realized that Chicago was playing way better than Vancouver and that I would rather play the bruised and battered Canucks than the sparked hawks.

Does anyone still feel bitter about the Leino give away? And about Chicago, as soon as that goal light came on it OT I turned to my wife and said "Drew is probably pissed ." Which is strange... cause I dont even know you... I think I need an NOHS Anonymous meeting...
I don't really care what happens or who comes out to be honest. I'm just glad they are going to game seven and that they'll all be banged up and tired and that we will get more than a week of rest. I think it's pretty sweet we're going to have Zetterberg and Franzen rested and ready to go and that Osgood might be back as well. I heard they took the weekend off. Sweet.
