Here's Your Check, Now Go @#$% Yourselves
From the Medince Hat News...
The Detroit Red Wings made a decision before their playoff series with the San Jose Sharks that might cost them a few bucks.
The Red Wings chose to land their plane at 12:19 a.m. Wednesday — 49 minutes past curfew at San Jose International Airport — and face a US$2,500 fine from the airport.
Detroit won Game 7 on Tuesday night at Phoenix, leaving only one day off before playing Game 1 of its second-round series Thursday night at San Jose.
Red Wings spokesman John Hahn says the team appreciates that the airport accommodated the late landing and it will accept the curfew fine. Airport spokesman David Vossbrink says the Red Wings have 10 days to respond.

Yeah, whatever. We have more important things to worry about. Like if the local YMCA pool is next to the community theatre in San Jose. Those Sharks were quite good in the dramatic dives last night.
What's that? You took a stick to the face, you say? Well, I'm giving you a two minute penalty for tripping. Go get stitched up and head to the box.
Right after that, of course, Devin Setoguchi (the one who cut Franzen open) took a one handed swing from Val Filppula and made it look like he got shot.
Yes, I'm sure Val swings a mighty stick...get serious bro.
