The Nightmare on Helm Street is a fledgeling blog overwhelmingly dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and the destruction of their enemies. Drew started a non-partisan blog in 2008 which failed miserably and he eventually created N.O.H.S. on the scorched Earth thereafter in July 2009. Chris was added as an author three months later. Both are washed up college hockey players, except Chris is a stupid goalie.

A reliable source has told me that only about 12,000 tickets have been sold for tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues.

Joe Louis Arena's capacity is 20,066.

That's roughly 60% capacity, or "Phoenix Coyotes" territory.

I'm sure this is in part due to the weather, due to the economy, due to the fact that we're playing St. Louis (not exactly a marquee team when NOT playing on a different continent).  I'm still a little disappointed.  I bought my two Coke Zero package tickets.  But it's looking like seat upgrades are going to be there for the taking...

Oh and if I have to witness my 3rd loss to St. Louis in one single season, something will get damaged tonight.
